Dr. David S. Groy was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and moved to Leesburg with his wife Gail in 1980. He started his dental office from the ground up and quickly realized what a wonderful place Loudoun County is to live and work.
Dr. Groy earned his B.A. from Gettysburg College in 1972, and then he went on to earn his D.D.S. from the Temple University School of Dentistry in 1979. He graduated in the top 5% of his class, earning an invitation to the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon). He is also a member of the school’s Periodontal and Oral Surgery Honor Societies.
After dental school, Dr. Groy completed a one year hospital-based General Practice Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, finishing in 1980.
